Roger, yes (certainly explains the "throw the bat at Piazza" behavior) but the Mitchell report states that Pettitte used HGH (not steroids) once during his elbow rehab in 2002. Yanks didn't win that year, and HGH wasn't banned at that point.
That brings us down to one culprit, as far as steroids go.
